How long is it, really?

Between 33 and 34 inches from the waist, depending on size. Our model is 158cm and it sits just above her ankle. On a taller frame it will land closer to mid-calf, so it reads as a proper midi rather than a full-length skirt.

Is it see-through?

No — and it isn't lined either, because it doesn't need to be. Cotton denim is a dense, substantial weave, so it's completely opaque on its own. Leaving it unlined is also what keeps it cool enough to wear in the heat.

Does it have pockets?

No pockets on this one. The A-line falls cleanly from the waistband, and pockets would have broken that line.

Which size should I take?

Go by your waist rather than your hips — the hips are cut generously and rarely decide it. There's no stretch in the waistband, so it's true to the measurement rather than forgiving. If you're between sizes, take the larger one.

What do I wear it with?

As a set with the matching Lena vest for something considered and complete. Or on its own — a plain white shirt tucked in, a fine knit for the office, a simple cami on a warm day. The embroidery is the detail, so everything else can stay quiet.

How do I keep it looking new?

Light ironing on low heat is all it needs, inside out so the embroidery isn't pressed flat. Wash gently, hang to dry in shade, and keep it away from bleach and the tumble dryer.
