A landscape, woven and worn.
A cheongsam-style top in lurex brocade, with a mandarin collar, a curved dajin (大襟) opening and a statement pankou (盘扣) knot finished with tassels at the front. Contrast piping traces the collar, front edge, sleeves and hem. The weave carries a scenic landscape motif that shifts in the light — the detail is in the fabric itself, so it needs nothing added.
Material: Lurex brocade (84% recycled polyester, 16% lurex) over a soft recycled poly-blend lining — the metallic thread is woven into the pattern for depth rather than shine, and the lining keeps it smooth against the skin.

What you're probably wondering
How close-fitting is it?
Gently shaped rather than tight — it follows the body without gripping, and there's a little room built in: our model's bust is 78cm and the XS measures 85cm. The brocade doesn't stretch, so size by your bust, and if you're between sizes take the larger one.
There's metallic thread in it — will it feel scratchy?
Not against you. The top is fully lined, so smooth poly-blend is what touches your skin. The lurex is woven into the brocade, where it picks up light as part of the pattern rather than sitting on the surface.
How does it open?
An invisible zip at the back. The pankou (盘扣) knot and its tassels at the front are the detail rather than the closure, which is what keeps the curved dajin (大襟) line and the piping unbroken across the front.
How long is it?
21–23" (54–58cm) from the top of the shoulder to the hem. Our model is 165cm and wears the XS, where it ends at the top of the hip. It's cut to be worn out, over high-waisted trousers or a long skirt, rather than tucked in.
What do I wear it with?
Wide-leg trousers in a plain colour — the Jin Yan satin wide-leg trousers in white are the pair it was photographed with — or a long plain skirt. Heels and small earrings; skip a necklace, as the collar, piping and tassel knot already sit at the neckline.
How do I keep it looking new?
Zip it up first, then wash cool with similar colours on a gentle cycle, ideally inside a laundry bag so the brocade doesn't snag. Hang to dry out of direct sunlight. It needs very little pressing — low heat on the reverse, going around the piping and the tassel knot rather than over them.
