Are the front pockets real?

No — the two little pockets at the chest are decorative, sewn flat with a gold button on each. They're there for the detail, not for holding anything. There are no working pockets on this top.

It only comes in two sizes — which one do I take?

Go by your bust. The S fits up to about a 36" bust and the L up to about 40", and the knit stretches a little on top of that. If you're between the two, the S will sit close like a fine knit tee and the L will feel softer and roomier.

Is it see-through?

No. The knit is fine but closely worked, so it's opaque on its own — no camisole needed. A nude bra is still the easiest choice under a pale yellow.

How long is it?

20" (50–52cm) from the top of the shoulder to the hem — waist length, finished with a ribbed band that keeps the shape. Our model is 158cm and wears the S; on her it ends right at the waistband of her trousers, which is what makes it easy with anything high-waisted.

What do I wear it with?

White or cream wide-leg trousers, as the model wears it — the gold buttons do the work of jewellery. Otherwise straight-leg jeans and sandals for weekends, or a midi skirt with flats for lunch. Keep necklaces off; the buttons are the detail.

How do I keep it looking new?

Hand wash cool with similar colours, or use a gentle cycle inside a laundry bag so the buttons don't catch on anything. Don't wring or hang it — the weight of the water pulls the shoulders out — press the water out and dry it flat, out of direct sunlight. It's iron free, so there's no pressing to do.
