It's white — is it see-through?

No. It's fully lined and non-sheer, which is the first thing we check on anything pale. You can wear it in daylight without a slip and without thinking about it.

Does it have pockets?

Yes, set into the side seams. On a dress this long they're genuinely useful, and they don't interrupt the line of the skirt.

How long is it, really?

Between 52 and 55 inches from the shoulder, depending on size. Our model is 158cm and it brushes the floor on her. On a taller frame it will sit at the ankle instead — still full length, just a little shorter than it looks here.

Which size should I take?

Go by your bust. The belt shapes the waist, so that measurement is far less decisive. There's no stretch in the fabric, so if you're between sizes, take the larger one.

Where would I wear it?

Holidays and resort days, which is what it was designed around. But it also works for garden celebrations, long lunches, and any occasion where you want to look considered without being formal. The collar keeps it from reading purely as a beach dress.

How do I keep it looking new?

Light ironing on low heat, and iron the tiers on the reverse so they aren't flattened. Wash gently, hang to dry in shade — pale colours in particular are better kept out of direct sunlight. No bleach, no tumble dryer.
