It's pale and unlined — is it see-through?

No. The fabric is woven closely enough to be non-sheer on its own, which is why it doesn't need a lining. As with any pale top, a nude bra is the safest choice.

How do I get it on and off?

Through the back. The high neckline doesn't stretch, so there's a keyhole opening at the back of the neck with a button closure — undo it, slip it on, and do it up again. It's a small button behind your neck, so it's easier with a mirror the first time.

Is the high neck tight?

No. It's a soft ruffled neckline that stands up on its own rather than gripping your throat, and the gathers underneath let it sit away from the body. If high necks usually feel warm on you, this one is at least light and airy.

How does it fit?

Easy through the body — the gathers at the neckline release into a soft drape, so it skims rather than fits close. The fabric doesn't stretch, so size by your bust. Between sizes, size up.

How long is it?

22–23" (55–59cm) from the top of the shoulder to the hem. Our model is 158cm and wears the S — on her it ends around the top of the hip. Wear it out over high-waisted bottoms, or tuck it in for a neater line.

What do I wear it with?

For work, white or cream wide-leg trousers and flat mules — exactly as the model wears it. For weekends, straight-leg jeans and sandals. For a lunch out, a plain midi skirt and small earrings; the neckline is the detail, so keep necklaces off.

How do I keep it looking new?

Wash cool with similar colours on a gentle cycle, and do the back button up first so it doesn't catch. Hang to dry out of direct sunlight. A light press on low heat keeps the body smooth — go around the ruffle at the neck rather than over it, so it keeps standing up.
