They're white — will anything show through?

No. The satin is non-sheer on its own, and they're lined to just above the knee — which is the part that matters, since below that there's nothing to see through to. Smooth, seamless underwear in nude is still the safest choice, because satin skims and will trace a heavy seam even when nothing shows through it.

Does the waist stretch?

At the back. The front waistband is flat and clean so a tucked-in top sits neatly over it, and the back is elasticated, which is what makes them comfortable through a long meal. The satin itself doesn't stretch, so size by your waist.

Do they crease easily?

Satin creases, and these need pressing rather than a quick shake out — that's why the care label calls for ironing rather than a light press. Hang them by the waistband rather than folding them over a hanger bar, and press the pleats on low heat from the reverse.

How long are they?

37–39" (94–98cm) from the waist to the hem. Our model is 165cm and wears the XS with heels, where they just clear the floor. Wide-leg trousers are cut to be worn with a little height — in flats, expect them to break on the shoe or need a hem.

Are the pockets real?

Yes — two side pockets, set into the seams so they stay flat and don't interrupt the clean front.

What do I wear them with?

A fitted top tucked in, so the pleats and the wide leg do the work — a plain knit, a vest, or a cheongsam-style top like the Jin Xin brocade top in navy, which is what they were photographed with. They also quietly do the job of dressing up a simple white tee.

How do I keep them looking new?

Wash cool with whites on a gentle cycle and hang to dry by the waistband, out of direct sunlight. White satin marks easily, so keep them away from zips and rough fabrics in the wash. Press on low heat on the reverse while slightly damp, with a cloth between the iron and the satin so it doesn't glaze.
