Will all that fullness make my hips look bigger?

It's a generously cut A-line — it flares out from the waistband with plenty of room through the hips — so it does add some volume. What balances it is a defined waist: tuck your top in, or wear it with the belted Beth top. If you prefer a slimmer line through the hips, a straighter skirt may suit you better.

It's a pale print — is it see-through?

No. It's fully lined and the fabric is non-sheer, so you can wear it in bright daylight without a slip underneath.

Does the waist stretch?

The waistband does — it's fully elasticated, so the skirt simply pulls on, no zips or buttons. The fabric itself doesn't stretch, and the hips are roomy on every size, so size by your waist.

How long is it?

34–35" (86–89cm) from the waist to the hem. Our model is 158cm and wears the S — on her it lands at the lower calf, a little above the ankle. On a taller frame it sits closer to mid-calf.

Are the pockets real?

Yes — two side pockets, set into the side seams so they don't add bulk. Big enough for a phone and keys.

What do I wear it with?

With the matching Beth top for a soft, coordinated set. On its own, with a fitted white tee and sandals for weekends, or a tucked-in plain blouse and flats for work.

How do I keep it looking new?

Wash cool with whites and light colours, so the yellow stays fresh, on a gentle cycle — cotton blends can tighten slightly if washed hot or tumble dried, so skip the dryer. Hang it by the waistband to dry, out of direct sunlight, and give it a light press while still a little damp.
