Is it too sparkly for everyday?

Not really. The sequins are tiny and scattered as small flowers, not covering the fabric — from a distance it reads as a print, and up close it catches the light when you move. Enough for dinner, quiet enough for the school run.

Is it real denim?

No — it's a nylon blend woven to look like denim. You get the easy, casual feel of a denim top, but it's iron free, which denim isn't.

How does it fit?

Straight and relaxed, with the shoulders dropping slightly into the folded sleeves. The fabric doesn't stretch, so size by your bust — there's plenty of room built in. Between sizes, go down for a neater look or up for a looser one.

How long is it?

22–24" (57–60cm) from the top of the shoulder to the hem. Our model is 158cm and wears the S — on her it ends around the top of the hip. Wear it out over high-waisted bottoms, or half-tuck it for more shape.

What do I wear it with?

For work, white wide-leg trousers and loafers. For weekends, with the matching Emmeline shorts and sandals. For dinner out, a flowy midi skirt and small gold earrings — the sequins do the rest.

How do I keep it looking new?

Turn it inside out and hand wash or use a gentle cycle in cool water with dark colours, so the sequins stay put and the navy stays deep. Hang to dry, out of direct sunlight. It's iron free, so there's no need to press — and if you ever do, never iron directly over the sequins.
